At Melia Homes, we love Southern California and especially our beaches and coastline. Our origin story goes into more detail about our passion for this subject that is very close to our hearts. It’s important for all of us to be aware and take on the care of our beloved waters, ocean life, marshes, wetland, etc. Some incredible organizations have been doing so for decades and we thought that a shout-out was in order. Heal The Bay, Surfrider Foundation, Coastkeeper, Save Our Beach, and Pacific Beach Coalition have been doing outstanding work advocating and cleaning our local beaches. As with everything in life, it takes a village. If you are looking for a way to give back and help the planet locally, they would love to have you as a volunteer.
